Going to Camp

You're never too old or too young to make incredible memories. Texas is home to several unique seasonal camping opportunties that incorporate Jewish life into everything from rope courses to Havdalah s'mores. With programs catering to every part of our community, there's a camp for every family. If you're looking for a day of play or a full sleep-away experience, we've got the information to take you from research to reunion.

Finding the Right Fit

We know that choosing a camp is a personal and important decision, which is why the Federation is here to provide guidance to help Dallas families find the right Jewish overnight camp for their campers, including campers with special needs. Need a guide through the camp wilderness? We're happy to help!

Send us an email or use the Find a Camp Tool from the Foundation for Jewish Camp.

Local Day Camps

Dallas is home to numerous high-quality day camp programs. No matter your religious affiliation, summer schedule, or your child’s needs, there is a camp for every camper. This guide can help locate the right program for you and your child.

Overnight Camps

The impact of Jewish overnight camp is immediate—campers return home connected to a community and friends that will last them a lifetime. And it doesn’t stop there. Children with pivotal Jewish camp experiences are more likely to become adults who value their Jewish heritage, support Jewish causes, and take on leadership roles in their communities.

We believe in the magic of Jewish overnight camp. All kids deserve the adventure that comes with independance, spiritual growth, and life-long friendships.
