Menorah Lighting at Kaleidoscope Park

A 12-foot-tall menorah will be the focal point of a Chanukah celebration at Kaleidoscope Park this December.

Throughout the observance of Chanukah, which begins Dec. 25 and ends on Jan. 2, Kaleidoscope Park will partner with Chabad of Frisco to host a special Chanukah menorah display. A new candle will be lit each night of the Chanukah celebration. The menorah, a meaningful symbol of light and community, will be on the Park’s Performance Lawn near the west side Tech Terrace.

On Sunday, Dec. 29, Chabad of Frisco and Kaleidoscope Park will host a Menorah lighting event that invites visitors of all backgrounds to come and learn about and experience Jewish traditions. Starting at 4 p.m. the celebration will feature remarks by Rabbi Mendy Kesselman, along with traditional Chanukah music, food and crafts. The lighting takes place at 4:30 p.m.

This event invites visitors from all backgrounds to learn about and experience Jewish traditions.
