If Elvis Presley was “The King” then who wrote the music that made him so great? Who dressed him in those clothes that made him so famous? Come learn about the Jewish connections to the life of not only Elvis, but so much of the music of the 50’s and early 60’s. Sing along and tap your toes to the songs you most remember from that fabulous era known as “early rock.” Let Mark take you on a musical journey through the many songs you may have grown up with but did not know were written, produced, promoted and often performed by Jewish artists, specifically female Jewish artists. As with all of Mark’s classes come prepared to learn, sing and have a good time. You will not want to miss this class! Register now at JCCDallas.org/Elvis
